Album Review: This Album Does Not Exist by DREAMERS

The best summer adventures come from unexpected places. Meet the unexpected soundtrack to your summer adventures.

It is amazing the place this infectious pop is derived. After 2 years of incessant touring, living in practice spaces, showering in gyms, and working jobs on opposite coasts, these three musicians managed to put out a debut album filled with smiles.  Three minute tracks of pure pop magic that dare you to define it with a genre.  Their playful pop music and psychedelic imagery embodies everything it mocks making Indie, Pop, and Jazz its bitch.

This power trio (consisting of Nick Wold, Nelson, and Jacob Wick) from Los Angeles, via Brroklyn may be one of the hardest working bands out there with vision out their ass.  They have opened for Stone Temple Pilots and Atlas Genius along the way carving out a dedicated following of their own.  Our staffer Tom covered them earlier this year in Philly to rave reviews.  Their subject matter is tongue in cheek with their infectious tune "Drugs"referring to cell phones.

It's hard to highlight standout tracks and all 13 tracks are strong across the board.  The best thing I can say is hop in your car, put the windows down, and dial them up.  You won't regret it.

This Album Does Not Exist by DREAMERS is due out on August 26th on Fairfax records.  You can find the band now on Spotify.

See you when the needle drops.
